Dr Andersen has been my oncologist for almost a year. Throughout this journey, he has always been very clear about the situation. He explained my diagnosis with care of my feelings and gave me time to understand as best I could in the moment. He gave his recommendations and the research behind it. He writes notes and draws diagrams to help when he explains new things and sends them home with me so I can refer to them later when I want to remember details. I was referred to Dr Anderson for anemia, which he immediately took care of. Dr Anderson is very attentive to all details pertaining to my medical care. He is updated with tests and procedures I’ve had and upcoming checkups I need. And he follows up on the results. This is unlike my other doctors who are in their zone of care only.

Went for Aranesp injection. Very short wait. Was warmly greeted by Dr. Andersen’s PA and received the injection. Was in and out of the office in less than 15 minutes. Very courteous and professional.

Dr. Andersen is careful to look over details carefully while we visit and to explain things in terms that I can understand. He is upbeat and cheerful. Oh, and he always wears fun socks!

I would recommend Dr. Anderson; he style is to-the-point, business like, and this suits me.
Dr Anderson is great. Very knowledgeable yet perhaps needs to be more personable. My husband was present yet didn’t get to introduce him as he launched right into my labs and questions about my last cycle etc. I felt I had to interrupt him to get clear on what was being said. Slow him down for better understanding. He was understanding of my insomnia , neuropathy and anxiety issues and recommended RX’s after following up with the pharmacy team for best results. Extremely thorough, very detail oriented. I received a huge notebook with all relevant information about my history and treatment, complete with handwritten notes. I feel like I am receiving the best possible care here. His personality is a bit chilly but I don’t need to be best friends with my oncologist.
