We went to Jax Fish House for date night....we wanted shell fish and oysters. Well...it was the perfect choice! From the live music, to decor, to the food and especially the service, Jax's was EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Our server, Monk, was the best, and every recommendation was a home run! There is a wide variety of oysters to chose from with great dipping sauces to experience them.
Gumbo was superb, as good or better than any we’ve eaten in New Orleans. Wedge salad always a great choice, the peel and eat shrimp, the Sineann Pinot Noir spectacular.
The atmosphere was amazing and our waitress, Lucky, was awesome. Our meal was delicious but I expected a little more flavor on linguini and clams meal. Other than that, we will be back for brunch.
Oysters are amazing! Honestly, we haven’t had a bad thing off the menu. The past three years my brothers and I have been meeting here for our oyster dinner. New tradition!
If you are looking for great seafood in Kansas City, look no further! Lovely staff, delicious food and a beautiful interior.
Best oysters in town, basically any meal you get is amazing! Totally in love with this place!!!
