Excellent food and staff. After living in Fort Collins for two years, I ventured into Jax last evening to experience this gem. From the staff, including our energetic wait staff Sarah, the experience was phenominal Great seafood, local greens from Garden Sweet CSA, I couldn't have asked for anything more.
I don't even like fish/seafood/oysters and this is my favorite spot to go downtown. The menu items for non seafood lovers are amazing; hush puppies, fried calamari and ceaser salad..out of this world. You can tell the chefs care about every aspect of the menu. Not to mention their alcoholic beverages have just as much care poured into them. They're phenomenol. From a Moscow mule to wine. It's truly a special place.
Happy hour all night on mondays...everything is amazing, the west garden drink is sooo good!! Always terrific service
Went here for dinner while visiting from MN. Best food I've had at any restaurant in the past year. Very friendly staff, above average service. We tried several menu items and each one was fantastic, especially the oysters on the half shell! Will definitely go again before I leave town. Highly recommend.
Been here several times, food is good, service has been great three out of the four times I have been here.....nobody is perfect all the time. Great happy hour specials.
A yummy place to eat excellent seafood and drink nice wine. Always friendly staff and a warm atmosphere
We enjoyed the calamari, oysters, crab cakes & halibut. All were delicious, and the Porter was very refreshing. The atmosphere was unpretentious and the service just right. We will be back.
The only place to grab seafood in Fort Collins, being from a coast getting seafood in a land locked state I was skeptical but after one bite I was hooked on Jax their food is so fresh ! We have never had a bad experience here. They have a wonderful happy hour that is very reasonable. I couldn't recommend them enough! Go... Go now!
