Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do! Dr Michelle and her staff have a way of making your dental visit enjoyable. This morning, my hygientist Darla, cleaned and polished my teeth unlike any cleaning I have ever had. I was even relaxed...and enjoyed my cleaning...CRAZY! I had a tooth that had been causing me pain for over a week and I called around and Jax Beaches Family Dentistry made me an appointment by 1 p.m. the following day and I did not call them till almost closing time the previous day.The Dr. Liz Alfuente was excellent and very compassionate towards me when extracting my tooth. I have never been treated so amazing The Dentists and their staff were very helpful with making it possible for me to smile again. My teeth were very damaged from years of coffee stains, and were very broken and jagged! But now thanks to Dr. Elizabeth Alfuente I can smile without fear of showing my severely Messed up teeth! In fact her touch is so gentle I did not even feel when she needed to knock out the nerves in my jaw so I wouldn't feel the drilling. Being a classic "anxious" dental patient has made it hard for me for decades, but not anymore! Dr. Michelle is amazing. I say that after some rather extensive work that took several visits, each lasting a minimum of 4 hours. Never once did she hurt my mouth. It's more than her skill, however, her "chair-side manner" takes the experience to another level. I do not write reviews, but want to make an exception. I broke a crown on one of my front teeth early this afternoon, and called for an appointment. I was asked to come immediately, arrived half an hour later and was assisted within minutes. I needed work on a root canal, a so-called post to be inserted in the tooth and a new (temporary) crown.
