Dr. Varela and his staff were very professional, thorough and did an awesome job repairing my hernia. I would highly recommend Dr. Varela to anyone needing surgery that he specializes in. He really deserves 10 stars if that was possible.
I had friends and family recommended other surgeons to perform my hernia surgery but after reviewing all the ratings and reviews on Healthgrades I decided to go with Dr. Varela. I am very pleased with the outcome and Dr. Varela, his office staff and surgical staff were all fantastic!
Dr. Varela did my hernia surgery and explained everything so I felt very comfortable. The results of the surgery were wonderful. Dr. Varela is one of the best doctors I have ever had!!! I am truly grateful for his superb services and his caring heart. I give him 10 stars!!!!

Dr. Varela is an extraordinary doctor. He listens my concerns and questions, provides detailed, productive answers to each one, performed great surgery, and follows up after the surgery. Dr. Varela's team have great customer service skills. I highly recommend Dr. Varela.

Doctor Varela was exceptional. He’s very attentive to your medical needs and is very professional. Would go back for treatment at any time. The staff is wonderful. I am very happy to have had him as my surgeon.
The Dr. and staff are patient oriented. They are as helpful as can be. Going into any surgery is a mentally traumatic experience, but the Doc and staff calmed me down.
