Started with a very friendly staff. Doctor Gonzalez is a very through doctor. I went in for 1st visit very apprehensive and came out very impressed.
He is an intelligent, caring and professional physician. My husband has been a patient for years and he has been extremely competent in dealing with his heart/lung issues. We recommend him highly!
i have been seeing Dr. Gonzalez since I had by-pass surgery in 2015. I have always found the care to be great. A nurse asks me some basic questions, followed by a visit with an extremely good P.A. Then the PA comes back with Dr. Gonzalez to see me. They have always been excellent at scheduling me for needed blood work, MRI's, etc. I would highly recommend Dr. Gonzalez and his staff. My wife is happy with another doctor that she sees at Citrus Cardiology, Dr. Attanti.
First time to a cardiologist.Found Dr Gonzalez to be organized and caring. All staff was very professional.
Terrible doctor all unorganized especially when it comes to your medication. Staff is extremely RUDE RUDE RUDE. NEEDS A NEW NURSE. Didn't have my records organized not noted symptoms I've been having a year half. Went to new cardiologist and he said Gonzalez didn't document anything wrong with you.
This doctor is unprofessional in the way you are treated like cattle. Recording of your symptoms are inaccurate and often important matters pertaining to your heart health is overlooked. My records were left out complaining of chest pains and heart palpitations on several occasions not noted, medicine screw ups and so forth. His nurse Fawn is very rude and disrespectful towards his patients don't understand why he hasn't replaced her. Would not recommend this physician.Finding a new cardiologist
I saw Dr. Gonzalez today for the first time. He is a wonderful doctor, extremely professional, very knowledgeable, thorough and answers all questions. I felt very ease during the entire exam. I also felt comfortable asking questions, as he answered them with expertise, in depth in layman's terms. His nurse, Fawn, was equally as professional. I would recommend this practice to anyone in the area looking for a cardiologist. It's not easy finding good doctors around here. I'm lucky I did.
Dr Gonzalez good. Office staff and customer service greatly lacking. Calls are never returned. My advice, find another provider. This office is grossly remiss in customer service.
I was a new patient & was placed on a blood pressure medication that lowered my pressure to the point I could hardly walk. Dr. Gonzales' Nurse called me and said cut to dose in half and would call next day to see how I responded. I called the office 2 times the next day and received no return calls. Over that weekend I wound up in ER needing open heart surgery the next week by a qualified cardiologist. This Citrus Cardiology Group is incompetent in handling such life threatening issues.
