The worst injustice imaginable – The owner is a terrible bad evil sort of man. He couldn't make rent on account of his own terrible business practices so without telling his employees he moves everything out overnight and posts a sorry SOL note for his employees coming to work the next morning. How cowardly. I hope to God nobody has to work under this man again.

Closed – Bought out Jan 1. 2009. Lost most of the regulars and staff. Shop is closed down. The original owner of this coffee shop owns another in Aloha, off of 195th. Same coffee, same old atmosphere, and much of the same old staff.

Ditch the national chain – This is a favorite place of mine as I prefer independant shops. $1 lattes on Sunday is a steal, although the savings is usually lost by purchasing the homemade pastries, which ususally delicious however not bargin priced. The owner is very friendly and remembers my wife and I and our drinks. The fault is partly my own as I forget to ask, however I wish they would promote real mugs over disposable cups, lids and cozies for customers who are staying there. Still the best cup in the area! – I use to be in the coffee business, and I was certainly skeptical at the change of ownership in the business. The new owner seems to have a firm grasp on the place, and is working diligently to preserve the essence of Java Mama?s while incorporating subtle, but necessary changes. Downhill... Sadly – This place used to amazing, so friendly and full of life. I have been getting my coffee here for years.But it seems like over the last couple months (they were bought out, sadly) that, even though its cleaned up much better, it will never be the same again. The new owner is pushy and awkward, it seems most of the previous staff has been replaced by his family, all men. Great people! Good coffee! – Love the peeps in here. They're fabulous, they remember you and your drinks, the music is good, the vibe is good. I love it! Go Tuesday mornings for an apple sourcream muffin and a double tall non-fat mexican mocha. MMMMmmmm....makes my day.

Great coffe house – Yummy muffins (if you get there early enough to grab one) and great coffee. Very kid friendly place, although I always see people from different walks of life sitting around. Little gem in the Beaverton strip-mall.
