Java Joe's Coffeehouse is fun, easygoing Java Joe's has an eclectic crowd and consistently good coffee and atmosphere. My book club meets there regularly and has enjoyed it for that. It is also worth a stop for reading or studying on a quiet night.
Favorite spot for lunch I used to eat at Java Joe's nearly every weekday for lunch. The food offerings are pretty standard soups and sandwiches with vegetarian and vegan friendly options. I highly recommend the Ginger Curry Pita. Sandwiches are served with Fritos and a pickle all for around $5. Great place to study, read or use the free Wi-Fi and surf the web.
Java Joe's Coffeehouse is great Java Joe's is a downtown Des Moines staple. They have food, great coffee, tea, and free Wi-Fi. There is also a fun little room for the kids to play. I love stopping in there any time, but during the Farmer's Market, it's especially hopping.
Recommendedfav lil joint. a bit slow in service but served with joy and friendliness - very laid back. splendid ambience :) great Bailey's coffee !
