This is Tammy Havran and I had anterior hip replacement with Dr.Thompson 2 months ago and am doing wonderfully... highly recommend South Texas Bone n Joint and of course Dr. Thompson!
Dr. Thompson was so courteous and provided realistic information about my surgery and recuperation. His words were very relatable to my timeline for recovery. His easy and approachable manner allows you to ask questions and know you will get the best answer. I will continue to see Dr. Thompson for my orthopedic needs and will highly recommend him.
Dr Jason Thompson and his whole team are excellent. Very responsive, caring, detailed followup and great results!!! Recent hip replacement went smoothly. So did the knees a few years ago. I would highly recommend him.
Dr Thompson replaced my left knee a couple of years ago, it was a fantastical surgery and I’ve recovered quite well. I’m going back to him now to have my right knee replaced and am expecting the same results. Dr Thompson is a very nice and friendly person. He’s very good at communication and his listening skills are just as great! I’ve referred others to him who need the surgery because I don’t think there’s anyone better. His office staff is very efficient and friendly people as well.
Dr. Thompson is an amazing person and doctor. I had a meniscus tear back in 2023 and he did that surgery. I have had no problems since and now in April 2026 I had a knee replacement on my left knee and he did an amazing job. My knee is only going on the 4th month of recovery but my knee pain which I had before is completely gone. So if you need something done for your knee go to him and I also forgot to mention he sits and listens to what you have to ask or say, not like other doctors who like to rush with patients.
