I had a great very good experience with Dr Silva at Ortho Carolina. He was very clear and upfront about possible complications with my meniscus repair. In the end, although it was not the full repair we’d hoped for, I’m confident he did all he could to ease my discomfort and get me back on track with my normal everyday activities.

Made an appointment a day before due to severe pain in my knee. Got an appointment for 9:40 am. He ended up seeing me an hour later!!! I was livid!!! I asked him why they schedule appointments if they are not going to respect the times? He was sorry but he said he had patients who were going to have surgeries and that is why it took him long! I’m very much satisfied with the job that Dr Silva did repairing my shoulder. I had significant pain and lack of strength in my right shoulder prior to my procedure. I had not heard of a reverse joint replacement surgery, but it has eliminated the pain and I’m regaining my strength back. Dr Silva has monitored my progress and provided me with the necessary information to return to normal activity.
