I spent years in pain. I begged everyone to explain why my body wasn't healing instead of just prescribing me more pain meds, steroids, and more physical therapy. The last time I saw Dr. Eldrige, he referred me to psychiatry because my images didn't correlate with my pain level. I refused to be ignored and found a doctor who would listen. Thank God I did because I HAVE LUPUS. Not one doctor at Mayo even tested for that regardless of how many obvious symptoms I was showing.
