Get ready to spend a lot of money. I saw Dr. Kurek for tendonitis in my ankle. He wrapped it for me with some sports bandages (which I could have done myself) and told me he recommended that I get my ankle x-rayed. I told him sure if my insurance covered it, but if not then I didn't think it was necessary. I was told it was covered by the insurance so I proceeded to get the x-ray.
