Appt was set up a week in advance by family dr to see Dr. Amato to remove infected, painful cyst. Dr. Amato did nothing but prescribe stronger antibiotics and walk out. Two days later after my condition did not improve, the family dr sent me immediately to the ER for possible admission for IV antibiotics. At the ER the cyst was lanced and further surgery had to be scheduled. Copay was $200 for the ER. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Amato and his staff. They were very nice and timly.
Dr. Amato is an incredible doctor. His staff just needs to smile a little more.

Dr. Amato and his nurses are extremely friendly. He caught my skin cancer in the very early stages and came in outside of office hours to remove it. He did everything he could to minimize the scars from my surgery. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
I have three family members who now see Dr. Amato. He is very knowledgeable and easily answers any concerns. We needed, he has made excellent referals to other qualifed doctors, such as allergists and surgeons, who are also the best in the area. I agree with the comment below about the receptionist, but she is not the one treating you.
He perscribed acne medication that has worked wonderfully for me. He has been very helpful and is always available to answrr questions.
I have been to his office several times over the last year and a half and have yet to see an improvement in my skin condition. Without considering other health factors, he prescribes many different oral and topical medicines. Never has he discussed the possible cause of my condition (ie. allergy, diet, etc..), just simply prescribes me a million different meds and sends me on my way. He was very kind, considerate, professional, and responded with great detail to all of my questions. He was very helpful and I will return to visit him again.
