From the first visit my wife and I had with Dr. Rad, he was compassionate and took his time to explain my options, the surgical procedure, side effects, and expected recovery. The one thing I really appreciated the most, was how he included my wife into the conversation and was attentive to her questions and concerns. Obviously, I can't have my prostate removed again, but if I had to, I definitely would return to Dr. Rad. Great bedside manner and I'm recovering as expected!
He misdiagnosed my major health problem. He did a procedure I didn't need. He scheduled me for another procedure that wasn't needed. I canceled that one after I was finally diagnosed with what I actually had after calling multiple times a week to get the scans I felt I needed. I knew something was wrong and he kept playing it off as problems that would eventually go away from the procedure he did that wasn't even needed.
Would not recommend this dr Shakur Rad my mom had to have her surgery done over ,don't recommend or mon health either. WVU highly recommend everything was so much better.
Great office & staff! Appreciate Dr. Rad taking time to go over the treatment options clearly. Highly recommended this excellent surgeon.
Dr Rad has been incredible from Pre to post surgery . He is extremely skilled and friendly and answers any concerns .. I feel blessed he did my surgery and grateful he saved my life and am now cancer free . He instilled confidence in my decision to have robotic surgery over radiation . I would recommend any and all to get treatment at Mon Health under Dr. Rads expertise..
