Yesterday, June 28, 2019, my husband and I headed home from Gulf Shores, AL. All the way home we talked about having dinner at Janko’s Little Zagreb. After getting caught in several traffic jams, we pulled up and parked at 9:35 PM. We had still made it! Their Facebook page said they closed at 10:00 PM. When we got to the door, the closed sign was up. We walked in thinking it was a mistake. The IU paraphernalia greeting you as you walk in was, of course, very fitting. This place is both quaint and nostalgic. The service was great. Everyone was very friendly and readily available. They genuinely seemed to want to make sure we enjoyed our visit. If you are in the Bloomington area, and up for an absolutely delicious steak, stop in and give this place a try.

Costly but the steaks are the best you will ever taste! This is only the second restaurant in my long and happy life where I have personally tipped the chef. I highly recommend their 20 ounce Ribeye. Medium or medium rare, of course.
One of the best ribeye steaks I’ve ever had. Flavor was amazing. Shrimp cocktail appetizer lights you up! Highly recommended!!
