Dr Cornwell is the BEST!!
Dr. Cornwell has been the perfect OBGYN for me for over 25 years. She was there for me from my first child through my fourth child. She takes time out of her busy schedule to ask the pertinent questions about my life and my needs as her patient. She’s been with me through so many stages in my life, and have appreciated her caring, spunky, bed side manner along the way. I look forward to visiting with her every year. I love her as my doctor and I would recommend her to anyone who asks!
I have been her patient of Dr. Cornwell for over 20 years and have always found her to be very professional and has answered all my questions and has taken all my medical problems. The entire staff of Matlock OBGYN has always been very helpful and made my appointments in a very timely manner. l highly recommend this practice.

If I could give Janis Cornwell a “0” I would! She is Heartless and Rude! The Worst Doctor I’ve Ever met! This Old Goat put me on a do not service list with the whole practice because she gave me a CHOICE to be Admitted in the hospital for nausea for 5 days.(w/no bed and no nurse or duty) Sent me to ER. I was fine after given fulids. ER ready to release me. She said don’t. I say I CANT stay. I have a 8 & 5 yr old @ school w/no Family here only been in Texas for 3 mnts. She doesn’t Listen
I love Dr. Cornwell. I have been a patient of hers for over 20+ years and I can tell you when you speak, she listens. I have never had a bad experience when visiting her office. My appointments are kept in a timely manner and rarely has she ever had to reschedule. I wouldn't go anywhere else and if I didn't have medical insurance to cover the costs of her visits, I would pay out of pocket. She has performed every gyn procedure I needed. I dread the day when she decides to retire.
