Janes Exchange is a NYC gem!The store is so welcoming for families and even has a play area for the kids so you can shop hands free- amazing! The owners are so kind and knowledgeable and they have everything you need for your baby/kids and more! All items are high quality for a fraction of the cost of retail! We will definitely be customers for life! Worth a trip downtown!

This is a great place. I love consigning clothes here and have also found some really stylish clothes for the kids. The best part is buying something that's adorable on store credit I got from bringing in clothes the kids outgrew.
One of my favorite moments raising kids in the East Village is hanging in Tompkins playground and seeing other people’s kids running around in my children’s cute outgrown clothes, and other people seeing our kids running around in their kids cute outgrown clothes and we all bought and consigned through Janes Exchange. Jane’s Exchange should be included as a Lower East Side Heritage Site for it’s long history of making it possible to raise children in the city.
