In to see doctor quickly, little wait time in office. Infected poison ivy rash. I informed them I couldn't shake it without a steroid shot. They gave me a medicine lab tests found wouldn't touch the infection. No shot. Gave me a second medicine, still no shot, then I get sent home from work today, can't go back until I get the rash gone. I was misdiagnosed last week at this clinic when I couldn't get into a regular MD. I was given medicine for ringworm, when instead, I have pityriasis rosea-a very common rash in young adults that is caused by a virus with no cure but time. She stated the pills she gave me were potentially harmful to my liver and even did a blood draw to establish a baseline in the event of damage.
