I came across Jan's Homemade Candies online years ago when I needed to send a 'get well-pick me up' to a friend. What a find! This quickly became my go-to for long distance gifts for my Floridian family and friends. Now each year when I'm in town I love to go and pick out my own chocolates to take back home with me. Adorable candy store with an even more adorable couple that own/run it. So glad I'm back in town and going to visit soon. I can't wait!!

We just visited few days ago. My daughter's & I are from Mich. We walked into a darling candy store with a feel of old days. Jan couldn't have been nicer. Biggest decision was how much could we buy or eat lol !! She told me she was from Chicago & when I mentioned Mich we both laughed! Jan made me fabulous white chocolate lollipops for a baby shower. They were hand painted pacifiers, baby bears covered by blankets and storks delivering baby boys. She does girls, too! I wish I could post a picture! Jan also had samples of her homemade candies on the counter. Yum!
i go to lauderdale by the sea at least twice a year and i always have to stop at jan's homemade candies and get my granddaughter hand painted chocolate shells, what a great shop and owners.
Such great service and yummy yummy treats!! Definitely visit if you're in Ft. Lauderdale!! ❤️
The chocolate treats are out of this world, they are absolutely worth talking about to my family and friends. They are also two adorable people i met in Ft Lauderdale.
