Like many of the people who have recently review Dr. Glenn, I had to see his PA to get my MRI ordered. Once I had the MRI, I got an appointment the following week with him. The depth of his explanations, and the time he took to explain all of my options was incredible for medicine these days. Right now I am doing PT but not getting better. I feel very comfortable going to Dr. Glenn for my surgery.
what a shame!! Called doctor office to schedule an appointment for my mother, who is 70 and in pain. She fell and compressed her D12 in India and is in pain. we need a consultation if we should bring her to US for surgery etc.. Doctor refused to make an appointment stating she needs to be in US and will not review any MRI or provide any recommendation
Unfortunately, I could only get an appointment with the physician assistant who did not seem competent to be dealing with patients in pain. I needed an MRI to diagnose the problem and she informed me that my insurance would not approve it. I told her I'd had no problems getting my insurance to approve warranted tests. I was unable to walk, sit, stand or WORK, so I called insurance a few days later to follow up on MRI. I saw Dr. Glenn for a micro discectomy 2 years ago, fantastic results and fantastic staff. Went back recently due to a re injury to my back, I believe I had herniated the disc above where the initial herniating disc was repaired. This time around I didnt see Dr. Glenn because he was on vacation. The physian assistant I did see, was not receptive to the level of pain and discomfort I was in. He supported using less invasive methods like PT and spinal injections for me until I was ready to come to terms and could arrange life for a much needed ACDF (3 level). I was out of the hospital at my own request after 24. hours and while the recovery was tough the results were better than I even hoped for. He is a kind man and if not for him I would be taking all sorts of pain meds.
Very personable, knowledgeable and transparent. Felt in the best hands possible
