Dr. Glenn performed a microdiscectomy on my L5/S1 disc. I had severe nerve pain/sciatica for several months due to a badly herniated disc that more conservative treatments were not helping. Dr. Glenn educates his patients so that they can make the best decision for themselves. Highly skilled and personable surgeon who understood who I was and what motivated me. He provided the detail that I needed (I am in a related field, very well informed although not a physician). Had two cervical spine surgeries 13 months apart. Should I need lumbar spine surgery, I will definitely go back to him.

Dr Glenn is a great surgeon. I was suffering with a pain that shot up my right leg from my calf to my back. After surgery the pain was gone. I was in and out the same day and handled any pain with ibuprofen, even though narcotics were given to me. After 3 days I was doing some exercises given by Force Therapeautics and walking half a mile. Now 4 weeks after surgery I have had no pain for over a week and I’m walking close to 2 miles in 35 minutes, no pain at all. I had a C level fusion done by Dr. Glenn. He was a second opinion for me. He spent time to give me a detailed explanation of the surgery and expectations after. My time up to surgery was well attended by his office and staff. My pre op visit with his nurse was excellent, an hour of reviewing each page of institutions. In hospital he kept my husband up on progress. He was attentive to my medical needs and pain control. First impressions were good. Appeared to be attentive and appointments were not rushed. He is conservative with respect to surgery in the beginning at least. After-surgery care is nonexistent. I felt like he stopped listening after my surgery. He minimized all of the issues I had including persistent pain after surgery. He left me with the impression that he either didn’t believe me or didn’t care about my post-surgery issues. I'm very happy with the expert care I received from Dr. Glenn and his team. They were quick to answer all my questions and but always took as much time as needed to listen to my concerns. My back surgery went as planned, and three months later I'm able to swim, cycle, and even run a little again. I have no complaints of any kind.
I couldn't have asked for anything more. My interactions with Dr. Glenn and his staff were great. Everyone was helpful and caring. Dr. Glenn is very easy to talk to and willing to take the time to explain and answer questions.
