Dr Smolen is either highly unethical, incredibly sloppy, or both. I saw him in August 2018 after being referred for a competency evaluation. I had been suffering from depression for the previous 2 years which was primarily due to circumstances. At the time of my evaluation, I had begun improving because my circumstances changed but that was short-lived due to Smolen’s false report of me.
