I have been using Blue Sea products for a number of years , and they are the products I spec. for most boats where clients want the best. Other competitors would do well to follow their example, particularly when it comes to fuse and breaker panels.
Just took a fifty mile drive to get an emergency boarding ladder which was listed on line as an in stock item. When I got to the store I learned that in stock did not mean in stock at the store, but did mean that they could have it shipped from their supplier right away. After the drive, (100 mile round trip) I thought they might be able to offer me free shipping for my trouble. They said nope to my request for free shipping which I thought was an adequate way to address my waste of an afternoon to pick-up an in stock item.
Drove down from Waltham .ma. The service was exelent very helpful staff very knowledgeable about there craft nice friendly people that work there. Bought brownell total boat lift jacks stands . My only regret is that I haven't herd of your shop sooner great place I will be back soon for more. I recommend to anyone to give them a shot you wont be disappointed. I wasn't .! I am very satisfied with my purchases through jd, I will recommend others do the same . I just painted my 1966 13 ft whaler and I was amazed how easy the paint went on ...found a great method to roll it on with a 4 inch foam roller and leaves the boat streak less ...you guys rock
This is my 2nd time ordering from Jamestown and likely my last. Ordered a $9.87 part and was charged both $11.33 handling charge and a $13.70 freight charge for ground shipping on a part that could ship in an envelope.
