First time at Jamesport and they've lost me as a customer. Beer was ok, food was just edible and the service was terrible. The minute we walked in there was a problem. We stood at the hostess stand for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, then there was a wait for a table (I was looking at empty tables ) long wait to place our order ,next we got our appetizer before our drinks , my beer was not what I ordered. We (party of 4) were there at 4:30 on a Tuesday evening, we waited 45 min for our food. The atmosphere was great, the food was okay.
Wonderful staff, menu offers outstanding food , loved the outside dining area and the variety of craft beer. We loved it so much.Definitley going back to fill my growler I bout for a souvenoir.
Beer and food were good, but the service was definitely sub par. I noticed everyone around us had the same experience and I could hear many others complaining about the wait for food.

Unfortunately our busy season is upon us and it only lasts for three months of the year and it pushes us to our limits capacity wise which does increase wait time for food. Could not have been more impressed with this place! Service was great, the beers were fantastic (the Nitro Stout was easily my favorite), and the pasta was excellent! Will definitely be back!
I would have given one star but I really enjoyed the Blueberry Wheat beer. The atmosphere was extremely horrible due to the staff being long faced and having no conversation to provide. Decided to leave after one beer as we sat at the bar with empty glasses it still took asking one of the four people just standing there for our bill. He sets it down with nothing to say and could see we were ready to pay yet walks away. Beer and food were good. 45 minute wait at the door (Friday night) with a 20 minute wait on food made us hangry af but in all, not disappointed. #nothungryanymore
The Nitro is smooth! I also loved the blueberry wheat. We had beer-battered fish with fries and slaw. The food was delicious! Service was excellent and the staff was very friendly
IPA was smooth and tasteful, plus the N.Y.strip steak was cooked medium like asked, the melted gouda on to was a bonus.
