Usually when there's 15 minutes left until closing and it's storming out, some stores will begin to pack up. Not JLD and we're happy they didn't. We got caught in a downpour and with having a hairless dog, the two don't mix. Thankfully JDL was open and we were able to get some rain protection for the rest of the walk home and some other gear for future Chicago weather which changes regularly (in a single day). This place is awesome! I take my Diva Cat into the grooming salon to have her claws trimmed. Brandon is a master at handling her in a way that I have never been able to. The rest of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and even gave her a free spring toy for her Birthday.

Great service and knowledgeable staff. My pup, d'Artagnan has lots of food allergies and the staff has been so helpful to identify foods (and do research by calling companies ) on finding good options for my little guy. They have been very accommodating with returns as well. Best dog food store ever!! Four paws up!
