RecommendedVery kind and knowledgeable staff, and they always make me feel welcome. They encourage me to bring my cat and let him walk around on his leash. They were even able to recommend good cat food that doesn’t aggravate my cat’s allergies. Hands down this is my favorite pet store in Chicago!
The store is well stocked and the employees are always helpful and friendly. One of Eddie's favorite places to visit.

Great local Andersonville spot. Our dog loves to go there for grooming and treats!
This store is so great! We were walking by after a quick visit to the vet and noticed the cute sweaters in the window. As soon as we walked in all the employees were running up to give our boy lots of love and treats (after asking, of course). Everyone was super friendly and made us feel welcome! Their treats, food, and apparel selection is great. We ended up leaving with an adorable Canada Pooch jacket for our pup. We'll definitely be coming back soon!
Love this place! The staff is always super helpful. I've taken my rambunctious cat in for grooming and she was so calm! Yesterday I was sick, but needed more cat food by dinnertime so I took advantage of JLD's delivery option! The food came at the agreed-upon time and the receipt stapled to the bag had a handwritten "Thank you!" on it! This place really goes the extra mile to help their customers feel appreciated!
