I met Dr Uyeki for the first time after having had a kidney removed due to cancer in 2012. I knew immediately that he was the Oncologist for me. A caring Dr who answers any questions that might come up and in a manner that you understand. He also gives his patients they time they need each and every visit. No one can be happy about having cancer but when you are comfortable with and trust your Dr, your journey with cancer is the better for it. I would strongly recommend Dr. Uyeki. I have been under his care since the summer of 2013, when I had a radical nephrectomy. When I found out that I had polycythemia vera, a myleoproliferative disorder and needed a hematologist, I was glad to see that I could use Uyeki for that as well. Explanations always clear, and all "standard of care" treatments ordered in a timely fashion. I believe that he is well-rounded in his interests, and that he is active in keeping up with the latest research for his field.
Dr. Uyeki is a great physician. He is extremely knowledgeable, listens to his patients, and provides practical advice. Highly recommend Dr. Uyeki.
Following MGUS diagnosis on annual basis now. Dr Uyeki is always patient and open to questions. I am free for another year..
Dr. Uyecki is an outstanding physician. He has a knack for simplifying the complex especially in proscribing treatment for cancer. Most of all, I trust his judgement and advice.
