This is a great place to go to when you are sick. Dr. Turek is an excellent provider. He listens and comprehends the overall view of your health to make the best assessment. The staff is friendly and will help you get the earliest appointment. All of the nurses are kind and go over all of your medications and concerns.
Saw Dr. Jessica a few years ago and liked her and wanted to see her again for my back pain but they told me I had to do a new patient appointment because they got a new system and cancelled the appt I made in the portal. My husband sees Dr. Turek but never actually sees the doctor, it is usually some assistant. For all the money people pay for medical you think they would do better.
Great doctor, but TIDELANDS management is HORRIBLE. I made a mistake, gave Dr. Turek the wrong prescription, and have been trying to get it corrected. Unfortunately, when I call his office I get an odious Tideland's answering service which is NO HELP at all. I have left messages (per the instructions) and finally made a video appt with my doctor. It never occurred. Thus, today I am trying to contact my doctor AGAIN, with no luck. BTW: I have been seeing Dr. Turek for 30+ YEARS. Never had any problem before Tidelands gobbled ... read more
Absolutely one of the best internist in South Carolina . This is a wonderful experience. Very smart educated, dedicated and friendly. Empathetic and quiet thoughtful diagnosis.
