I went to Dr. Song with existing kidney stones in my left kidney. He did multiple shock wave lithotripsies, some of which did not result in stone passage. He also insisted that I have my bladder scoped although I had no problems with my bladder. I still had the same stones in the left kidney and he wanted to do more. I went to another urologist for a second opinion. My kidney has shrunk due to damage from those lithotripsies and I still have stones. He will use a ureterscope, which is safer.

He kept cutting me off as I tried explaining my symptoms. Even put his hand up to me to cut me off and said let me say what I have to say. He was trying to give me info I already knew. Didn't try treating me for my bladder condition. Just went straight to the jugular and said I need a biopsy of your bladder. Get that scheduled and I'll see you then I don't know what I was thinking. I scheduled the biopsy, the soonest they could get me was 2 1/2 months away. I ended up cancelling the appt.
