From the first meeting I felt he was condescending and arrogant in his approach to explain what he thought was my diagnosis. By the second visit I knew he wasn't the right doctor for me when this continued and he became passive aggressive towards me. I left the appointment feeling disrespected, disappointed and wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone who would like to work with someone professional.
My review of my experience as a patient of Dr. Wrede is a verbatim compilation of all the good things expressed by others re: his abilities, his attentiveness, his one-to-ones with his patients. I am so, so fortunate to have found someone who absolutely treats my somatic dysfunctions so successfully, enabling me a much greater degree of mobility than I have had in years! Maybe I will climb in the Cinque Terre thanks to his know-how. Ever so grateful...

I was referred to Dr. Wrede from a Dr. in Boston. She treated me for a few years and not one Procedure helped or decreased my pain. I have multiple Chronic Pain diagnosis literally from head to toe. I have been seen and treated by Dozens of Physicians, PT & OT, Specialists, Surgeons since 2009. Not One of these Treatments or Therapies have ever been Effective. He has a genuine sense of caring he conveys. He takes the time to explain the process and listens closely to the needs of the patient. He works very hard to be accessible.
After many years of visits to various doctors about recurring back pain/spasms, I began to go to Dr. Wrede for help. He is a wonderful listener and knows just how to treat my back issues. Dr. Wrede is always able to find a way to fit me into his busy schedule if I have flare ups. I will continue to be a long term patient of his because I have finally found a doctor who can help me. Also, his office assistant Tracey is very quick to respond and is so helpful in scheduling and other issues.
After shots, ablations, pills, acupuncture…..I tried everything short of surgery which was recommended. There were times that my back pain was so terrible that I actually had to crawl to get to another room. And then I found Dr. Wrede. His treatments were like a miracle. I can actually golf now. Now we live in South Carolina. At my last appointment, I told him that he actually “saved my life”.
Dr. Wrede was life changing for me. Over the last year I have been having chronic pain in my back and stomach. I wasn’t sleeping and the pain was consuming my thoughts. After many doctor visits, test, PT, myofascial release, I finally found Dr. Wrede. After 1 visit I felt so much better, partly because of the time he took to learn about my pain and then the information he shared with me about what was going wrong with my muscles and alignment.
