Dr. Schopp was excellent in both the surgery and the aftercare. He removed a cancerous section of my colon. I was able to be released after 3 days (the minimum) and he was very good in the follow-up. Thank you!
Possibly the Best general surgeon in Tacoma. He totally explains what he will do for your problem in understandable terms. Educated in Chicago another PLUS in this town. So nice to your family as they wait to see you post surgery. He fixed an additional issue once he had me on the table. Terrific results.
He it’s so professional, kind, he understands your pain and working carefully whit. Excellent surgeon and all partners and staff. Thanks Doctor Shoop you safe my life and thanks to Sunshine amd Cara makes big difference during the process.
I would highly recommend Dr. Schoop to all of my family and friends. He is very thorough and explained everything to me in layman terms before my surgery and again the day of surgery and I am very satisfied with the results I received. Sincerely Dennis Dillon
what can i say!!! other than Dr. Schopp is the best surgeon ever. 2001 i had alot of complications from abdominal scar tissue and he did surgery and i had a fast recovery , more important i have had no problems since! Christine Caillier
"Life-Saver" Dr. Schopp. I was truly at 'Death's Doorstep' with E-coli poisoning when I met Dr. James Schopp, whom came highly recommended. It was 2010: E-coli was due to a very large mass in my colon, causing it to leak , and stones so large in my gallbladder, they caused my gallbladder to bleed. That mixing of the two led to the E-coli poisoning. Almost half my colon was removed as well as my gallbladder. There were complications that arose. Thanks to Dr. James Schopp, I'm alive!
Dr. Schopp is a caring, excellent surgeon who probably saved my life. I had been in terrible groin pain for over a decade and was made worse by a botched surgery from the (UNCARING, MAIMER) Christopher Arroyo of Gig Harbor. Dr. Schopp comforted me by saying, "I have experience with this sort of problem and can help." He did. I had been written off and sent to a pain clinic by The Fransiscan Organization of SO CALLED DOCTORS. Dr. Schopp is kind and has great bedside manner. Go see Dr. Schopp.
Dr. Schopp was very thorough in explaining my condition and surgical operation. He helped me and my family by providing information that help reduce the mental stress associated with complex disease of colon cancer. He performed surgery not only to remove diseased part but also repaired two other minor problems which in long run would affect me. I highly recommend Dr. Schopp and am grateful to him for his care in my most stressful time.
