Welcome to the website! I am a hand surgeon and orthopaedic surgeon who has been in practice for about 25 years. I have my own practice in Mechanicsville, Virginia, on the campus of Memorial Regional Medical Center (MOB #1). Therefore, if you are looking for an office where you receive individualized attention and care throughout your visit, my office is for you! My goal is to discuss your problem and treatment options with you so that we can come up with a mutually agreeable plan.

Dr Weiss is an excellent doctor. He treated me for nearly a year, due to another doctors butchery.His staff is second to none.There isn't any long waiting times for appoints at any point.
Staffung is very amiable. I was always greeted with a smile. There was little waiting time to see the Doctor. I was never rushed with Dr. Weise 's time while he was with me.
For over 10 years I've suffered with a cyst on my left hand index finger. It made my nail on that finger deformed. I saw one Dermatologist for this and he did not recommend fixing it so I lived with it. I went to Dr. Weiss and he said, yes, I can remove it, he explained what he would do and of course explained, there was a possibility it would come back. Surgery and subsequent appointments were prioritized and handled with top level professionalism. We were so relieved to have Dr. Weiss and his team lead us through the many unknowns and healing process with a very reassuring approach. Dr. Weiss performed LEFT THUMB BASAL JOINT ARTHROPLASTY WITH TENDON TRANSFER, VOLAR PLATE REPAIR/RECONSTRUCTION AT METACARPOPHALANGEAL JOINT LEFT THUMB on Dec 1. He removed a bone and the moved the thumb back to where it belonged. It had been hyperextended 30 degrees. After 8 weeks I have a lot of mobility in the thumb back and no pain. I am very pleased with the results of the surgery and can not recommend Dr, Weiss high enough. He did a great job for me.
