James Republic is probably my favorite restaurant hands down. Delicious and such a great atmosphere. Not to mention the location is wonderful for a walk after. The menu is ever changing and I love it.
Had the swordfish, it was very good! Also had the Eagle Rare bourbon, served well.
Food, drinks & service were amazing!!! Only a little pricey.....
Trying new menu items is a reason to go in...but so are the tried and true! Never been disappointed. The foie gras on New Year's was sublime. Tempura fried eggplant with a curry sauce was a huge hit at our table where half said they hated eggplant. It changed their minds! Can't wait to go back.
We've been here many times but it has changed. The vibe is different somehow and some of the food seemed like it was pre-made and reheated. The menu changed and the staff seemed less interesting and more into upselling. I loved this place as it was and hope this was only a one-time disappointment.
