My son saw Dr Sands for well over a year. During that time he never suggested testing of any kind. Never any diagnosis. My son was eventually diagnosed autistic/adhd by a different doctor. We went through so much turmoil because he was simply misunderstood. He’s now thriving with an amazing psychiatrist and therapist. I’m very disappointed that we saw Dr Sands all those years ago and he never caught on to all of the very obvious signs that my son is autistic.
I was evaluated at the age of 13. His careful and thoughtful examination changed the course of my life, unbeknownst to me at the time. I have eternal gratitude for Dr. Sands eval of me and the mountains it moved to get me where I am now.
