I had one appointment after my past Doctor retired. The appointment went okay and for the most part I liked him. BUT I received a letter in the mail discharging me from his care as my drug test came back as my urine was diluted. I had no idea how that could even be possible, so I looked it up online. Apparently drinking too much tea, water or coffee can do it. I drink A LOT of water and sweet tea. You would think a doctor of such, experience would know that and would simply ask me to come in without having anything to drink!
I’ve been seeing this doctor for thirteen years for chronic pain after two back surgeries. I also suffer with bipolar. He was fine treating me for thirteen years while I was medicated for both issues by only him and my psychiatrist. Suddenly, he wouldn’t treat me anymore because he said there was a conflict between my medications. I was on the same medications for all thirteen years. He was rude and didn’t take three minutes with me. He didn’t even stay in the room long enough for me and my husband to ask about alternatives ... read more
Dr. Beretta is the best doctor I have ever seen. So knowledgeable about so many different topics and pain issues. I wish there were more doctors like him and with the same awesome expertise.
Narcissistic child
I really like the doctor however I'm having problems with the prior approvals because there needs to be an adjustment with the medication and the nurse refuses to help. The cost of the medications without insurance is nearly 800$. I understand insurance is a pain but the medication does me no good if I can't get it. They knew this last Thursday when I came in and still gave me the same medication and took my copay. So I don't know if there's a communication problem?
Excellent dr. I've been a patient of his for several years now. He's very caring and compassionate.
I have been a patient here for over 10 years and even drive several hours now for my treatment. I trust his decisions on my care and the staff is the nicest I’ve ever felt with.
Dr Beretta is by far the best pain Management Dr I have had. Hopefully the last. He is courteous, wise professional and very caring. His staff works hard along side him and have been with him a long time. Once you get settled in with Dr Beretta you can feel comfortable and confident that he will take care of your medical needs in the most practical / effective ways in his power. He is not the average "pain Dr mill" this is a respectable man for starters who cares about each and every patient.
Very poor bedside manner to the point this or any other feedback would not be read. So this is for people that will be his patients. His testing is nonexistent to the point of only doing the least he can get away with. Do not know what brought him from the north to Florida and then to Alabama but most can figure out what it was. Dont explain what the reasoning behind the procedures as almost like us southerners are too ignorant to understand and then gets upset when you question him about it.
