I was referred specifically to see Dr. Halloran by a good friend who is familiar with most of the physicians within the St. Luke’s Healthcare system in Kansas City. I wouldn't recommend James halleyran to any woman or mother. Be warned. I got upset while advocating for my son (who is in pain stemming from an accident last fall) and had the wildest dr apt ever in my life. At the last apt we brainstormed next steps and I thought we were getting somewhere. I asked hallerson what we do from here and he started getting really irritable and defensive and hostile. Dr Halloran and Bailey are FANTASTIC! I had total ankle replacement three months ago. Ankle already feels great; at least 80% recovered. I’ve NEVER experienced any significant pain during my recovery. Both providers are extremely competent and patient. Highly recommended.
Dr. Halloran is very knowledgeable and takes the time to thoroughly explain his assessment of your injury and the recommended procedure. I especially appreciated that he was able to quickly diagnose my ankle injury after I had previously been told it was simply arthritis in a 30-year-old ankle. He walked me through the procedure step by step so I knew exactly what to expect. His staff is also very encouraging and helpful in making sure you are well prepared. Highly recommend Dr. Halloran and his team.
