I first saw Dr Donovan when I was referred to him by my workplace for a on the job injuryin early 2024. He was very sympathetic and caring. He ordered some therapy and a follow up. Fast forward to now. I went back to him for some different pain in the same area, he seemed annoyed that I was back as he stated there wouldn't be anymore improvement for my torn rotator cuff. He has been my hand surgeon for many years. He is responsible for helping me stay in my profession till late 70’s. He works at an excellent facility where one visit is enough to solve your problem. He is very conservative and avoids surgery whenever possible. I’m extremely dependent upon him to keep my hands going. Highly recon his care!
I had a really good outcome with my right knee with Dr.James P.Donovan. The surgery went really well.
I had a slip and fall accident up north in feb 2018. I broke my right wrist, left elbow and hurt my back. I had surgery right away up north, they put clips in my wrist. When i moved to Florida, I seen Dr James Donovan because I was in so much pain. Dr Donovan Decided to operate and He took the clips out. He did not even speak with me about what was done. Went to see this Dr. in December of 2020.I was having quite a bit of pain and swelling in my right ring finger. For months prior to seeing him. The finger would really look inflamed and with home treatments I could get the swelling down. I saw him twice and after each visit he asked me “What do you want me to do?” Of course, I said “Get rod of it”?
