Dr Behr has been very helpful in relieving my extreme lower back pain. I had surgery with another surgeon but it did not help much. The treatments from Dr Behr are the only thing that relieves the pain. Everyone on his team at the center is very helpful and friendly. I have been treated by Dr Behr for over six years. He is very considerate and friendly which makes going for procedures unstressful.
I was referred to Dr. Behr for severe back pain. I Was very impressed with the staff and Doctor Behr was extremely professional and seem very concerned regarding my situation. After explaining what was going on he did recommend what should be done and everything was set into motion. If their rating was a 10+ he would receive it. Would recommend to family and friends.
Dr. Behr explained my issue is laymen's terms so that I could understand why I was having the pain in my neck. He recommended a shot of anti-inflammatory (I think) into my neck because this worked well for me last time I saw him. He is very friendly, concise, and genuinely interested in my well-being. He also took the time to answer all of my questions and put me at ease about the procedure.
I really liked him. See the PA sometimes instead of him and I never no which it will be. Don't like not knowing.
Passed around from doctor to doctor by Liberty Mutual for a workers comp injury. Finally sent to Dr. Behr. I assume the reason is that he will do what Liberty Mutual wants and doesn't care about the patients. Staff is rude to worker comp patients. Fought with LM and ended up loosing my job because of pain meds I was taking and wouldn't even talk about surgery till it was too late. Ruined my 30 plus year nursing career.
I was told by Dr. Behr that he would not see any patients from Pain Management Associates even though I would be left with no doctor to fill my morphine pump. However I get a phone call from Pain Management Associates today and their representative proceeds to tell me that he has accepted to see 3 of their patients after telling me no and I was one of the first ones to ask to be seen my Dr. Behr. I would like to know why he chooses to see some patients and then tells other ones no.
