I really like Dr. Winkley and have recommended him to many. He’s very knowledgeable, thorough and cares about his patients. Seeing him is easy at the Baptist Health clinic located in Brannons Crossing.

Did not seem to want to listen to me or my husband about concerns I had after I was diagnosed with epilepsy. Prescribed seizure meds for 6 months in which symptoms became worse. I tried to explain this only to be directed to another specialist. I seemed to be wasting his time at least that is how I felt. Definately not the Baptist Health Code of Conduct I was expecting. Michon was wonderful! It was easy to make appointment, maybe because not so busy. However,unfortunately, I would not recommend.

My first visit to this doctor it’s about 10 minutes and I was diagnosed with post concussion syndrome about one week after a car accident. I was sent home with sleeping pills and nothing else even though I had been exhibiting nausea, headaches, mood swings, & I couldn’t sleep very well because that’s what happens after a concussion. Also being a former prof photographer for Sports, I know about concussions & the first 4-6 weeks are the most important, but my 2nd appt was set for 2 months. Bad!

Both the staff and Dr. Winkley are friendly and courteous. I have never been to another neurologist to really compare, and while he is all for going with what medicine I say works for me, I just don't feel very confident in the diagnosis. Even though we don't always get answers as to why, I just feel like there is something more in my case. Also, the MRI results I got from him and my family physician were different; he said nothing was found and she said there was. I'm really just on the fence.

Unprofessional ,when you try to explain the symptoms that you are experiencing, he doesn't want to hear, His opinions is all that matters, I would recommend another neurologist.

I would not recommend Dr. Winkley. He claims to treat things like traumatic brain injuries, concussions, and post concussion disorder, when in fact he ONLY deals with the pain associated with these issues and brushes off the rest of your problems that relate to these problems.

Dr Winkley is the best doctor I've ever had! He correctly diagnosed me and placed me on the right treatment, which has now given me my life back. He also has the best bedside manner of any other Doctor out there . I am and will be forever grateful !

Medical records give values for assessments never completed. Several times I have visited this doctor and the exam did not involve any hands on procedures at all. When discussing my condition with the doctor, he repeatedly failed to listen to my medical history and in fact, errors were included in my medical record that would affect future treatment of my condition. If you care about comprehensive treatment of your neurological condition, this is one to avoid.

After being referred to Dr.Winkley he tried different medicine's with me after a seizure disorder for several months. He made a decision to inplant the vns device, this has been a life saver for me. I am still on medication, but I also now live a productive life.
