Dr Shehan and his team of nurses are professional and kind.
I saw him several years ago at SMC. I was told a place on my nose was nothing to be concerned about. I recently went to a different dermatologist who tested it and found out that it is squamous cell cancer. I wish that I had seen her back then.
Dr. Shehan was the first dermatologist in Omaha that I had thought treated his patient like a human, not just a number. Now that he moved to his own practice, I've seen him a few times and I'm treated like a number. Completely disheartened by my experience.

My recent visit to Advanced Dermatology of the Midlands with Dr. Shehan was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They made me feel comfortable right off the bat. I did not have to wait long before they called me in to see Dr. Shehan. Dr. Shehan was professional and very approachable. He addressed all my concerns and made me feel at ease. I left the clinic feeling like I was in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Shehan at Advanced Dermatology of the Midlands.
Because of this doctor, my 11 months old daughter got Cellulitis. He told us an on going "rash" on my daughters butt was a form of ecezma. A month after seeing him i took my daughter to the ER has she was getting more welts but this time on her leg. She never had a rash. They were chemical burns on her bottom. Caused by different brands of diapers. This doctor could have prevented Cellulitis. My daughter now has scars because of these burns.
