I had my first surgery through Dr. Pape in the summer of 2017. I was 56 at that time. He recommended arthroscopic knee surgery when I was having such severe pain that I couldn't walk. Arthritis had developed from a severe fall that happened in 2001. I used him because my Primary Care Physician told me he was the best. Dr. Pape assured me I would be unaware I ever needed surgery following a few weeks of PT recovery. But I was still limping weeks later at the follow-up appointment.
