Had a total knee replacement and from start to finish was great to work with. He answered all my questions honestly and with words I could understand. He answered questions about my PT. Staff is wonderful and always friendly. Wait time in office and for appointments aren't bad at all. I would recommend him to my friends, family and anyone who needed knee surgery.
DR. Kanellakos was patronising and matter of fact. He had been referring to notes over a year old for a current problem and was using those notes to diagnose THE WRONG SIDE OF MY BODY. And did not acknowlegde or take any reponsibility for his mistake,
I had excellent results from the bilateral hip surgery and the PT afterwards, after approx 3 months moved the clock back three or more years in terms of walking, climbing stairs etc.
Dr. Kanellakos is the best! He is caring, efficient, a great listener, uses the latest medical advances and I felt confident I was in good hands before and after my hip replacement surgery - Extraordinary!!! Would highly recommend him.
I had a total hip replacement done by Dr. Kenellakos. From the first day that I saw him in the office throughout the entire process I was impressed with with him and the entire staff. Dr. K was attentive to my needs and did not rush me through the many questions I had. I received a phone call from him personally 3 days prior to surgery to ask if I had any further questions or concerns and again he was attentive and patient with my numerous questions. Some of which I am sure were repetitive. Dr.
The best doctor I experienced in the 7 years that I suffered with hip pain! Dr. Kanellakos is calm, kind, attentive and he did an excellent job replacing my hip. He gave me a new hip, a new lease on life and I am so incredibly pleased and thankful!
Have been seeing Dr. Kanellakos for a few years for knee and hip problems. Recently had a full hip replacement, and after three months, my hip is near enough 100% recovered, and back to normal range of movement and strength. Dr. Kanellakos is very professional and caring, clearly an expert, and I have recommended him to friends.
He was very understanding about my knee problem. Explained in great detail the procedures that I needed. Started with a torn meniscus repair,then progressed to a partial knee replacement 9 months later.
VERY disappointed, he did not listen, he showed no concern, not likable, I went to see him for a problem he specializes in and his words were, I CAN'T HELP YOU. I provided enough information and documentation with the problem areas but he did not bother & was just guessing. I can go on but this should give you an idea, basically he was NOT professional at all, to me anyway and I am Greek as well. This is one physician (and I use that word loosely) I will NOT recommend.
