Dr. James Kim Jo has been my mother, brother and I PC for over 6+ years. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. His bedside manner is excellent. He has been a blessing to our family given his care for all of us. He is very professional and does not prescribe any medications that are not needed for healing —— in other words, he does not try to over medicate. Very kind and caring and listens attentively and respectful. Went to him 10 years ago and came back this year as I wanted to elect him as my pcp officially.
I’ve never met Dr. James Kim Jo despite being scheduled for an appointment with him. And the reason why is the basis of this review. Last Spring I was notified that my primary care provider at another Emory location was leaving her practice. I immediately began the search for a new provider within Emory (using the Emory website search tool) because I needed to establish care as soon as possible.
