I honestly think that Dr. Song is the best Ophthalmologist in Fremont, and perhaps the whole Bay Area. Approximately 20 years ago, after being under his care for a couple of years, I became impatient in his office waiting room one day, and left the building, and decided to see another Ophthalmologist that was in Fremont. Dr James J. Song is an amazing specialist, courteous, respectful, highly qualified professional and excellent surgeon. When I developed cataracts, the choice for a replacement lens was clear, my vision is no longer the exception.
Wait time WITH an appointment is 1 hour! Force you to get dilated, do glasses test even if you go for an eye injury. And over 2.5 hours before you see the doctor. A doctor who does not seem to care about you.
Excellent eye surgeon I was refered by my family doctor to Dr. Song for poor vision due to cataract in both eyes. I was very near sighted and wear --9.00 glasses. Dr. Song is a perfectionist and did most complete exam on me. He spend time to discuss my treatment options. He performed cataract surgery on my eyes with excellent results of vision.
