Both of my children (under the ages of 12) have been going to Dr. Steyer for about 2 years. They both have had fillings and my son had further, more extensive work done one time. I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful the doctor is. He is so incredibly patient and, to this date, neither of my children know that a dentist even uses a needle. I took my daughter's to Dr. Steyer's office when we moved to Bixby. We used to go to Dr. Owens. Both are pedriatic dentists. The initial visit was fine. My eldest had two cavities. She returned to get both filled. He covered her nose with a nitrous oxide mask. This is standard. In addition to the nose being covered, Dr. Steyer uses a latex dental dam over her mouth. My son had to have one of his front teeth repaired after a fall. Dr. Steyer was amazing. We were able to watch the whole procedure through closed caption TV. That was a nice touch for a very nervous mother. The office is extremely clean. There is a sports theme, which is perfect for my boys. The dentist and the hygenists dress in sports attire which is fun for the kids. The front desk help isn't always the friendliest, but they are no worse than some other places. He is absolutely wonderful!! My kids don't even mind going to the dentist. He is super sweet! When our regular dentist would not pull 4 of our sons baby teeth , that the orthodontist recommended to be pulled,without anesthesia, Dr. Steyer did it and my son had no problem. We did not have to put him out with something that is potentially dangerous.We love him!!!

I toook my 3 yr. old daughter to Dr. Steyer and found she needed some dental work. Dr. Steyer fully explained why it was easier to accomplish this work in a hospital setting, his staff was wonderful to work with, and his office atmosphere is great for kids. He was always great with my daughter and reassuring with me, and her teeth came out beautifully!

He is by far the most awesome dentist I've ever taken my children to. They were afraid to go to the dentist until they went to him. Now they can not wait until their 6 mo checkups!
