If this provider had better staff this would be a five-star ratings; nevertheless, he's a very good primary care provider and manages my care well. Anyone with more than one chronic condition would receive quality care here.
Amazing just absolutely AMAZING Dr Loomis diagnosed skin cancer (malignant melanoma) over Telehealth… He asked what’s that on your elbow let me get a better look at it please. I showed him on computer and he immediately told me to go to a dermatologist and get a biopsy.. Doc Loomis just is an amazingly intelligent doctor. The Best!
I have been going to Dr. Loomis for a couple of years. I am very proactive when it comes to my healthcare. So far, the dialogue between Doctor and myself is very good. He and the staff are professional and personable Telehealth is available and is a wonderful service for me and my medical needs. I would recommend this practice to select people. I hope that my health care relationship continues at a satisfactory level.
After my first visit with the nutritionist named Maggie, it became clear that she thinks finding girlfriends for Dr. Loomis is part of her job. Sure enough, on my follow up visit with him he started coming on to me. When I didn't respond the way he expected, he became angry and rude and the staff became blatantly rude. Dr. Loomis is a well trained physician but he is in business primarily to make money and sleep with any woman who is younger than he is.
Dr Loomis is hands down, the best medical professional and human being I've ever had the pleasure to be treated by! Dr Loomis treats your entire body, eating habits and behavior that detrimental effect your health. Doc Loomis truly cares about his patients! Doc Loomis is a throw back to the small town doctor who knows his patients, with a big city education and abilities! He has the knowledge and abilities to diagnose and treat....."hard to diagnose and rare disease". Again Doc Loomis CARES!
The best doctor I've ever had and was very effective in treating several medical conditions, recognizing two very urgent conditions and got me to the right specialists right away. Very professional and involved in his patients health. Would and have recommended him to my family and friends.
Dr Loomis is knowledgeable and friendly. His approach to medicine is different than other doctors I've seen in the past. Dr. Loomis practices Lifestyle Medicine and considers diet an important (maybe most important) contributor to both health and disease. He encourages his patients to follow a plant-based diet and tries to reduce the amount of medications taken on a regular basis. He will prescribe medications when they are needed, but prefers to treat most chronic conditions with diet first.
Have been a patient for more than 14 years. A great physician and just a nice guy. He steered my wife and I to a more plant based diet and lifestyle. It helped us to change our thinking and or lives in general. What a positive experience!
