Dr. Crutcher restored the active lifestyle I’ve enjoyed every day since he replaced my hip 17 years ago. When a new issue recently developed, it was a no-brainer for me to choose him to evaluate and diagnose the problem. Every aspect of his practice is professional, efficient and geared to making his patients feel well-cared for, informed, and confident they’ve chosen an excellent surgeon to recommend a course of action and treatment.
Very professional and answered all my questions
I was part of a healthcare team for over 50 years and as such, I can be fairly critical when I reach out for Care. OPA has it covered from all angles. A patient may not have the background knowledge that I have but they made sure that no matter who the patient was, they were completely informed and cared for. I’d had a previous knee replacement at another facility and I can tell you my postop journey this time was like night and day.
The doctor truly listened, made astute observations throughout the consultation, had a great sense of humor, and did not hold back with what to expect before and afterward.
Always friendly, provides caring, straightforward diagnoses and followup, excellent support team.
Today's visit was a follow-up from my initial stay at the Swedish Orthopedic Institute. When the original x-rays showed that I had fractured my femur in a fall at home, I was scared. I had heard stories of recuperation from fractures in this area taking 6-12 months rehabilitation after surgery. You can imagine how immensely relieved I was when Dr. Crutcher looked at the x-rays and told me that he had seen a number of similar fractures over the years of his career and that I didn't need surgery. Pleasant physician with calm demeanor who quickly put us at ease then throughly explained the procedure and follow-up. We felt convinced he would be capable of a successful procedure.
