We purchased a home from James Clyde in October of 2023 at Cartwright Ranch and, as with all new homes, we had several issues during the first year and beyond. The issues were typical, for the most part, but what wasn’t typical was and is the service and response we get from Matt. Matt is always very timely, friendly, and professional. He takes care of us and always provides a solution. We couldn’t say enough good things about Matt. He not just our builders representative, he is a friend!
I can not speak more highly of this team. Jessica, Shane, and Christina helped me with my house to find out what my colors and surfaces are when the original owner didn't leave that information. They are the kindest, most helpful group of people and made my updated process so much easier. Highly recommend James Clyde Homes! I also love the design, the custom features and the layout of this home.

Highly recommend James Clyde Homes and here is why: We moved into our James Clyde home in the fall of 2024. Prior to making this decision we looked at a lot of builders and their houses throughout the Ada County area. We kept coming back to the James Clyde homes in Cartwright Ranch for a number of reasons. I contacted them to look at the houses and the lady was NOT friendly at all. I've sent several emails for them to view the houses with NO responses back. When I tried looking at various homes in Cartwright ranch + the one in meridian the sales rep responded 1 word responses, which really shows they don't want my business. I've read some of their reviews on yelp, which explicitly state "We cannot recommend James Clyde as a home builder" due to the owner being difficult to deal with, another issue is "Hard to communicate with.... read more
