James city veterinary clinic is very helpful and organized. I always knew when my pets' shots, etc. needed updated and I always knew when I went on vacation that my dog was taken care of here. They also were very helpful and understanding when my cat Pauly took a turn for the worse. The vet walked me thru it and explained everything about what was happening. They did everything they could to help her but she passed away due to the condition she had. They were very respectful with my feelings and let me come back to see her w... read more
Dr. Bates and his staff are always friendly, helpful and competent. They take the time to get to know you and always answer your questions.
ALWAYS Available.. They are great with sending reminders for check-ups... there when emergencies happen they were very supportive for our pet and what she was going through. No extra charges or "scare tactics" . Real Doc who gives a hoot. Definitely encourage others to visit .
I have been taking my pets (babies) to Dr, Bates who has a one man veterinary clinic for two years. He and the staff are very personable and knowledgeable. I never leave his office in Williamsburg with unanswered questions. I would highly recommend anyone seeking any type of treatment for their pets to give James City Vet, Dr. Bates a call. It will not be a wasted appointment .
