Thank you Dr. James c. Wang. My colonscopy and endoscope(throat) performed at Kaiser Irvine, was a very pleasant procedure beyond my expectations. Your care given to me and review of your procedures, and my comfort, was greatly appreciated. You are a credit to Kaiser and to the medical profession!
I went in to see Dr. Wang for upper endoscopy. He said it would be a light sedation. I warned him that I had issues with sedation and he assured me he knew what he was doing and I would be ok. I did sleep under the light sedation, but, woke up during the procedure feeling like I was being strangled. I screamed and begged for them to stop. The nurse restrained me and then they stopped the procedure. In the report Dr. Wang stated they stopped the procedure due to food being in my stomach.
